Love letter to Brooklyn
Absolutely love this vernacular typography by Steve Powers aka ESPO, for Macy’s in Brooklyn. He was commissioned to paint their car park in a series entitled “Love Letter to Brooklyn” in order to cover the ugly grey garage with typography inspired by down town Brooklyn. He has some amazing work.

A website with some great work, Anthony Burrill has some lovely typographic illustrations. He works across a range of media, including posters and moving images. We especially love his witty use of words within typographic posters.

Typejockeys
Some great projects by Typejockeys, a graphic design studio in Austria who’s main focus is unsurprisingly typography. We especially love this identity for Marktachterl restaurant, it evolved from an idea based on their existing neon signage which was beautifully translated into a solid graphic script like font.
The Old Brookyln Parlor
Nice identity by studio Objective Subject, for The Old Brooklyn Parlor. To reinforce the 1930s Brooklyn aesthetic, custom hand rendered script was used alongside classic New York sans serif typography. A clean and simple identity, friendly and inviting exactly what you want from a brand.
Jonny Wan
Just spotted this lovely alphabet by illustrator Jonny Wan. This was s self initiated brief in order for him to gain more understanding of letterforms and express them in his own style. Lovely stuff!
RM Regular by Mash Creative
Mash Creative‘s brand new typeface RM Regular is a perfect example of clean, simple and legible sans-serif font.
